The Goden Ankh Disaster Relief

Our Story

The Golden Ankh Disaster Relief (G.A.D.R.) is a passionate 501c3 Non-profit organization founded by Rod Hughes an Army Veteran, Insurance Adjuster and former Disaster Relief Housing Inspector. Having worked with F.E.M.A. as a contractor, the founder witnessed firsthand the disparities between low-income areas and high-income neighborhoods during disaster deployments across the United States—from Texas to New York.

Who Are We

We are a small Georgia base 501c3 non-profit organization that has large golds when it comes to helping our communities needs during crisis, whether they are man-made or natural disaster.

The Golden Ankh Disaster Relief programs provides disaster mitigation, preparedness, and short-term recovery support to help families and communities affected by natural and man-made disasters to rebuild their homes and lives. With natural and man-made disasters on the rise, our mission is focuses on community preparedness before the disaster strikes. By providing when to, how to, and where to obtain information by FEMA and EPA with newsletters and brochures on natural disasters.

The Golden Ankh Disaster Relief will provide community services, such as free food, toiletries, clothing, furniture, minor mitigation, and disaster relief education. For those communities that has been displaced by natural or man made disasters

We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their socioeconomic status, receives equal care, compassion, and support during times of crisis. The Golden Ankh aims to bridge the gap and uplift communities that often go unnoticed by mainstream relief organizations.
